Work Plan
CuantaIA’s work plan for 2022–2023 sets out a three-phase strategy to position itself as a global leader in data-driven artificial intelligence (AI):
Phase 1 (2022–2025)
The focus in this phase is on strengthening research capacity in Colombia. This involves consolidating the team, developing AI models applied to national challenges, and launching the CuantaIA platform. The areas include public safety, public health, public procurement, mobility, climate change, and poverty, ensuring solutions adapted to the local context with a direct impact on society.
Phase 2 (2026-2027)
Seek to expand CuantaIA’s influence at the Latin American level. The aim is to adapt and replicate the models developed in Colombia to address regional challenges, fostering collaboration between countries and promoting the interoperability of data and technologies. In addition, the goal is to access international funding and strengthen research networks in the region.
Phase 2 (2026-2027)
CuantaIA envisions itself as a global player. This stage includes the internationalization of the platform, integration of advanced technologies, and active participation in solving global challenges. Priority will be given to attracting international talent, increasing the number of PhD researchers, and disseminating results in highly visible academic spaces.
